« A Homecoming » suit discrètement Doug, une femme trans récemment affirmée, qui rentre chez elle pour l’anniversaire de mariage de ses parents après une longue absence. Elle n’a pas encore choisi son nouveau prénom. Sa mère, Vicky, bienveillante à distance, se retrouve pourtant déstabilisée face à la réalité de l’enfant qu’elle a toujours connu. Pour surmonter la peur de sa mère avec amour, Doug fait un geste de grâce exceptionnel.

A Homecoming quietly follows Doug, a newly trans woman returning home for her parents' anniversary after a long absence. She has not yet chosen her new name. Her mother Vicky, supportive from afar, unexpectedly struggles seeing her changing child in the flesh. To conquer her mother's fear with love, Doug makes an extraordinary gesture of grace.
