En 1967, Gia, âgée de 7 ans, entend aux informations qu'une jeune femme a défié les conventions sociales en courant le marathon de Boston sans autorisation. La réaction violente de son père et le silence de sa mère, poussent Gia à percer le mystère de cette “dame du marathon”.

In 1967, 7-year-old Gia hears on the news that a young woman has defied social convention by running the Boston Marathon without permission. Her father's violent reaction and her mother's silence prompt Gia to unravel the mystery of this “marathon lady”.
