En 1942, Louis, un gendarme français participant pour la première fois à une rafle, va se retrouver déchiré entre son devoir et sa morale en trouvant un petit garçon laissé seul dans un appartement. Saisissant sa chance d’épargner une vie, Louis va tenter de sauver l’enfant de l’horreur qui l’attend en le cachant des policiers aux questions juives venant fouiller les appartements.

In 1942, Louis, a French policeman involved for the first time in a roundup, will be torn between his duty and morale when he finds a little boy left alone on his own in an apartment. Seizing the chance to spare a life, Louis will try to save the child from the horror that awaits him, by hiding him from police officers from the General Commissioner for Jewish Affairs who come to search the flats.
